You did it! Week Five! Way to go friends. This week we dove head first into the 4 gospels and met our Savior Jesus Christ. Are you seeing it all with different eyes after studying the Old Testament?? Wow. It is coming alive for me in ways it never has before and I know that's through study. From taking the time and digging in. Are you loving it??? Click here for my Week Five video recap! Note* John the APOSTLE wrote the gospel of John. Not John the Baptist. Duh. Face palm. So the New Testament...

Welcome friends! Week Four is now under our belts. Man, that feels like an accomplishment. This week was PACKED. We blazed through the rest of 1 and 2 Samuel, 1 and 2 Kings, 1 and 2 Chronicles, and all the prophets, and to just make it easier...we wrapped up the rest of the Old Testament entirely! Phew. I may need a nap. I made y'all a chart of the timeline we covered this week so make sure you check it out at the bottom of this post. It will help you see the whole time period we covered and...

Welcome back friends! Week Three has been conquered-ish! I say this because I don't think anyone can ever know everything there is to know. But hey, here's to hitting the highlights. This week we made our way out of Genesis and FLEW through Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, Joshua, Judges, Ruth, and 1 Samuel. I'm sweating just typing that. But wasn't it so delicious?! I have known the "big" stories for years but learning all of the segways from one to the next and connecting all of these...

Hello there my friends, here today to share a fun, spunky little detail in our daughters' shared bedroom! I found this Ikea dollhouse that hangs on the wall (naturally I'm now calling it a wallhouse) and it has added such a sweet flavor to their room. I think it is subtle but unique and the little gals up in here adore it! Without further ado...

You did it! Week ONE in the books. Man, we covered some ground. I love that this study is giving us the high points while also showing us things that are so profound and personal. I have quite a few takeaways that I want to discuss with you! I won't be going into every detail that we learned in our homework, I'll simply be sharing the parts that spoke to me and how I plan on applying them to my life. HEAR ME WHEN I SAY THIS: I am an expert on zero things. This is just me sharing what this study...

Hi friends! Here to share a sweet little quick update to our living room. (I told you I would still share my personal decorating adventures!) So I had this space in my living room between the curtain panel and mantle that was just blank. (Pic below!) There is also more wall space on this side of the mantle than the other. AND I always wanted to sit on that end of the sofa to read but it was just too dark. Why it took me 10 months to realize I needed a wall light I'll never know.

Hi friends! Here to finally share how I made the cornices in the girls' shared bedroom for less than $35 each! And mine are large as far as cornices go. If you make smaller ones, this will be even cheaper! Plus, the fabric I chose was pricier than it could have been had I chosen something less expensive from Hobby Lobby, Joann's, etc. There are so many ways cornices can be done. As decorative accents like I've done, over windows in place of other treatments, over matching draperies, and on and...

Hey y'all! The back entryway is finally done! Sort of. This space was the same color as the master (a taupe color) and had turquoise doors on all sides. It opens up to our master bedroom, our master bathroom, and the kitchen...as well as the back door of course. I painted the doors (all except the back door because I didn't know what I wanted to do there) upon moving in and primed the walls as well. And then it sat there neglected for 6 months. Oops. But now it's done-ish! I'll be adding new...
